Matt Mereport is armed with little more than a guitar, voice and electronics to create his sounds. Previous musical endeavours have been pigeonholed and pursued under a variety of monikers, but more recent musical pursuits have been released without alias and or boundaries to style to create music as it comes.
There’s nothing predictable about these sounds other than their electronic arrangements. Self described, it’s sometimes heavily electronic, sometimes heavily acoustic, sometimes heavily weighted. Check out Timing is Everything for something a little more complex sitting on top of a prevailing bass line, sounds that are a little more melodic accompanied with synth vocals in Shockley or the more ambient vibes of Legno Lugno.
