Back in 2010, alt folk outfit Young Causeway was formed, sharing influences from 60’s and 70’s singer-songwriters.
Together with a host of live performances to their name, the pair have an EP boding their sparse alt folk arrangements made of light, plucked guitar and other instruments to accompany lashings of vocal harmonies. Gold and Blue is a stunner, not just because of its darker tune compared to some of the other gentler, sentimental sounds but there’s a bit of charm to behold in (As Long As You’ve Got Mine) I Will Always Have Your Back.
