Armed with a trusty acoustic guitar, Mister Jones and His Guitar released In Plain Sight in March, his debut album following a string of EP releases. His writing is influenced by a range of styles listened to as well as creating a reflection of the world around.
Sound of the People is an everyday feel-good number, celebrating commonalities and the mundane before relating to shared trials and tribulations in Too Much. Rumours in the Wild may sound cheery but covers up some sombre words. The stories seem to be the way of much of the music on the album, honest, heartfelt and taking pride and place through to Muscle Memory before ending on a short and sweet high note in Good (Good) Heart.
