Scott Tucker started neo-psychedelic rock band THE ORANGE after a daydream at art school. The name itself has significance too – in short, it’s intended to represent the space between who someone was and who they will be after a series of events or occurrences.
Another one that’s been patiently waiting on the list of things to listen to, the fact that Courtney Taylor-Taylor from The Dandy Warholes was putting up his hand for some mixing earned some attention. But incorporating both classical existential literature and life experience into the song writing creates intrigue in itself.
There’s definitely no shying away from the rock here, with a catchy number in Blow Up and delivering a very cool psych rock feel from Mr Money Maker as does the smooth James Bond.
