(D)SIMONE is an indie / alt rock outfit based in New York. While Charles D’Simone juggles the roles of frontman, singer, songwriter and keyboardist, he’s joined by drummer Michael Smith, guitarist Joe Belle and bassist Freddy Tecuanhuey.
After getting out a few singles, (D)SIMONE put together a solid EP’s worth of listening last year on Lost Until We’re Found. It dishes out some uptempo, driving rock sounds with classic rock influences trickling through in the EP’s title track and a number called Dog Eat Dog. Keys feature prominently amongst the usual guitars, taking a cue from the blues in Sometimes and venturing into rock ballad territory with Waiting For You.
