If garage-psych appeals, or even if the sounds of bass, riffs and thundering drums take your fancy then Milwaukee band The Rashita Joneses might be worth a listen.
The band released its debut EP back in March, recorded DIY style in a basement offering a chance to rock out to thrashing sounds and simple lyrics courtesy of We Can’t Relate, and getting a little loose on Killin’ It amongst other tunes.
But an EP alone wasn’t enough. The band released a split single with fellow band buddies Filter Free Rodeo complete with a home packaged made with love and special not-released-digitally-surprises cassette, and even got a 7” out back in June featuring the guitar laden My Finger.
There’s also word of a fresh EP in the works as well….
