All it took was a shared love for music and performing for Hot Under Collar to form back in 2012. The result being friendship, and their own tunes.
Soul Food is the most freshly pressed tune from Hot Under Collar, a spacious, chilled out number laced with the odd guitar solo, funky bass lines and smooth vocals. The track comes into its own with a cruisy jam and lots of layered vocals and sounds.
It’s not the only taste of what Hot Under Collar has to offer. So Cold takes the band’s sound into a rock / funk direction without losing too much of that soul, while a little more attitude and funk comes through in Headspace where vocals and guitar shine with a hip hop edge.
