Home is the debut EP from London based, French singer-songwriter Angéline.
Citing a range of influences across blues, funk, soul and pop ballads, including the likes of Gérald de Palmas, Adele, Charlie Winston, Sheryl Crow, Ben Harper and KT Tunstall, Angéline manages to cover all of these in one way or another on the EP.
Home is the EP’s opening track, a piano fused pop ballad showcasing Angéline’s vocals. I’d need Google Translate to do the heavy lifting in working out what Personne is all about, as the only French track on the album but sound wise it takes on a little more from those range of influences. Lonely and Blue is worth checking out as well for a soulful tune.
