New Music: Poorly Made

poorly made
Take growing up in a rap and reggae environment, a love of Guitar Hero and a gifted first acoustic guitar, and put that together with a violinist who started playing at the tender age of six.
That’s what happened when Mikhael Naylor crossed paths with JP, connecting through music and deciding to form Poorly Made in 2014.
Poorly Made is anything but – Broken is a little dark, blending striking violin with a rolling guitar melody and soulful vocals. For a change of pace, Hands takes on a lighter, catchier pop vibe and a little rap while still managing to incorporate that violin.

The pair also do a great little cover of Bastille’s Pompeii…
