I’ve had the latest album from Brisbane’s Hungry Kids of Hungary for a couple of days now…it’s a winner!
If you’re into upbeat, indie pop stuff then you’re not going to be able to sit still for very long while listening to this one…it’s fun, catchy and there are some beautiful harmonies to boot. Not much more you can ask for – you can take it easy a few tracks in with a more chilled out vibe around ‘Yesterday’s Gone’, but not for long…
Fave track? Without a doubt, it’s ‘Do or Die’. Definitely not the most upbeat track on the album but there’s something that makes me keep playing it over and over again…probably the contradiction between a beautiful melody, just a little bit of attitude…and those harmonies 😉
